Clear line of sight on today's numbers and tomorrow's decisions
We don’t just report numbers. We connect your financials to your strategy.
Our Difference
Understanding your business before we open the books.
Good financial advice doesn’t start with a spreadsheet — it starts with a conversation about where your business is going.
Before we do any reporting or advisory work, we take the time to understand your strategy, your growth plans, your people, and how your business operates.
That context is what makes the difference between numbers that sit in a report and numbers that drive real decisions.
Numbers only mean something when they're connected to where you're headed.
1. Strategic direction
Where the business is headed over the next 1–3 years.
2. Growth objectives
The targets, priorities and milestones that define your path.
3. People & operations
How the business runs and what resources support it.
4. Then the numbers
Analysis that is commercially grounded and ready to act on.

CFO Advisory
A strategic financial partner embedded in your business — CFO-level thinking at a fraction of the cost.
Our Values
Values are easy to print on a wall. Ours show up in how we answer the phone, how we price the work, and how we handle the days that do not go to plan.
Integrity
We say what we will do, then we do it. No buried fine print, no advice shaped by what suits us. If something is not the right fit for you, we will tell you straight, even when it costs us the job.
Client Focus
Your goals set the agenda, not our sales targets. We take the time to understand how your business actually runs before we recommend anything, and we stay reachable long after the paperwork is signed.
Risk Resilience
Risk never sits still, so neither do we. We help you spot exposures early, plan for the rough days, and get back on your feet fast when something does go sideways.
Expertise
Years of hands on experience, with accreditations kept current and knowledge kept sharp. You get advice that reflects where the market is heading, not where it was five years ago.
F.A.Q.
A few of the things business owners ask us most often before their first call. If your question is not here, we are happy to talk it through on a free discovery call, with no obligation.
What services does Clearline offer, and how do I know which one is right for me?
We offer three services: Bookkeeping, Accounting and Reporting, and CFO Advisory. Bookkeeping keeps your records clean, current and audit ready. Accounting turns that data into monthly reports you can genuinely understand and act on. CFO Advisory gives you strategic financial leadership for the bigger decisions, such as growth, funding, pricing and cash flow. If you are not sure which one fits, that is completely fine. We will help you work it out on a free discovery call, with no obligation.
When is the right time to reach out?
There is no perfect moment, but most clients come to us around a particular decision or concern. That might be considering investment or expansion, cash flow starting to feel tight, preparing for a sale, exit or succession, or simply wanting clean and accurate numbers you can trust. If any of these sound familiar, it is worth a conversation. The earlier we are involved, the more options you tend to have.
Do I need to have my growth plans figured out before we start?
Not at all. Whether you are planning geographic expansion into a new market, scaling your existing model with more volume, preparing for a sale or exit, or consolidating before your next phase of growth, we start by understanding where you want to take the business over the next one to three years. That direction shapes the financial support we provide, and if you are still working it out, that is exactly the kind of thinking a discovery call can help with.
What if my books are a mess, or I have no visibility of where my finances stand?
You are not alone. Around 87 percent of SME owners feel unclear on their finances. Whether your challenge is messy or out of date books, cash flow or funding constraints, no clear view of your financial position and where it is heading, or systems and processes that are not keeping up as you grow, we can help. We start by getting your foundation clean and current, then build the reporting and insight you need to see where you stand and what to do next.
Do I need a formal business or financial plan in place first?
No. Some clients come to us with a full suite of strategic, marketing, cash flow and people plans, and others have very little written down. Either is fine. Understanding what you already have simply helps us see the full picture and identify where the financial gaps are. Where it adds value, we can help you build the pieces that are missing, such as a budget or a cash flow forecast.
What financial metrics will you help me focus on?
That depends on what matters most to your business right now. For some clients it is profit margin, for others it is cash flow and working capital, cost control, or clarity on operational efficiency. We connect your numbers to what is actually happening in the business, so the metrics we report are the ones that genuinely drive your decisions rather than figures that simply sit in a report.
I already have a bookkeeper or accountant. Can you still help?
Yes. Whether your finances are currently handled by you as the owner, an in-house bookkeeper or accountant, an external provider, or no one in particular just yet, we can work with that. We often complement an existing setup, for example by adding reporting and CFO level advisory on top of your current bookkeeping. On a discovery call we will find the right fit without disrupting what already works well.
What size business do you work with?
We work with start-ups, growing SMEs and established owner-operated businesses across a range of sizes and industries. To tailor our advice, it helps to know a few basics up front: roughly your annual turnover as a ballpark, how many employees you have, and a line or two about the product or service your business provides. No business is too small or too early to have a conversation.
